Samsung makes Galaxy S5 variant with octacore processor

The Galaxy S5, Samsung’s new flagship smartphone, will be produced both as a quad-core processor with a octacore. The octacore processor is probably one of Samsung’s own Exynos line. The same thing happened in all the Galaxy 3 and Galaxy S4.

Samsung came up with the information on its official blog, but the page seems now to be offline. The Google cached version of the page reveals that the new Galaxy S5 both with a 2.1 GHz quad-core processor with 2.1 GHz octacoreprocessor will be delivered. Chances are that the octacore-Exynos processor is here that Samsung last year announced . The quad-core version of the S5 gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. It is unclear which version of the S5 is going to be. Distributed by country

With the Samsung Galaxy S4 Samsung already did a similar move. That aircraft was also equipped with a quad-core processor and a octacore. From tests showed that the two variations on performance hardly differ.
