Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy A7 – the thinnest smartphone in the full metal body

Samsung officially unveiled the all-metal smartphone Galaxy A7, previously shown at the presentation of models of Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in Malaysia. The device has produced the thinnest among Samsung smartphones housing – 6.3 mm. For comparison, the thickness is 6 iPhone 6.9 mm.

Galaxy A7 is equipped with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of HD. The device will be available in two versions: a 64-bit system-on-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 and 32-bit resolution Exynos 5430. Both chipsets are equipped with 8-core (four 1.5-GHz core ARM Cortex-A53 + four 1.0 GHz core ARM Cortex-A53 at Snapdragon 615 and four core 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A15 + four core 1.3GHz ARM Cortex-A7 at the Exynos 5430). Both versions have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory. There is also a slot for microSD.

Galaxy A7 is equipped with two cameras – the main with a resolution 13 megapixels and LED flash and front to 5 megapixels. Powered machine running Android 4.4 KitKat of Custom shell with TouchWiz UI, but soon, is reported to be ready firmware based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
