Samsung releases Galaxy Home speaker in April

Samsung starts selling the Galaxy Home in April. The company unveiled the smart speaker with Bixby assistant last August, but after that it remained relatively quiet around the Home speaker. The number of supported languages for Bixby has been expanded.

Samsung did not say a word about his Galaxy Home speaker with Bixby during his Unpacked event where it announced the Galaxy S10 on Wednesday, but afterwards DJ Koh, CEO of the company’s mobile division told Cnet that the speaker should appear in April . He did not mention in which countries the speaker comes out.

The chance that the Netherlands and Belgium are there, is small, because the personal assistant of Samsung, Bixby, does not understand Dutch or French yet. On Wednesday, Samsung announced that the number of languages supported by Bixby has expanded with British English, German, Italian and Spanish, as well as American English, Korean and Mandarin, the languages that the assistant already spoke.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Home in August during the announcement of the Galaxy Note 9 and in November the company showed the speaker again, during Samsung Developer Conference, without mentioning the publication date. The price is still unknown.
