Samsung shows its thinnest smartphone to date

Samsung has shown its thinnest smartphone to date. The Galaxy A7 has a thickness of 6.3 mm, thinner than the 6.7mm of inter alia the Galaxy A5 and Alpha. It’s not the thinnest smartphone that has been announced so far.

The 6.3mm thick casing Samsung Galaxy A7 has stopped a 2600mAh battery. That’s a slightly smaller capacity than the 2800mAh battery, for example the Galaxy S5. The A7 has a 5.5 “screen from Samsung’s own Super AMOLED line with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.

The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615-soc, a octacore eight Cortex-A53 cores. Samsung showed the A7 at an event in Malaysia, reports SoyaCincau. The phone falls in the same Galaxy A Series as the previously announced A3 and A5 .

While the manufacturer showed the Galaxy A7 alone, it also has the Galaxy Grand Max announced . This handset has a 5.25 “screen with an unnamed” high-resolution “, presumably 1280×720 pixels. The processor is a quad-core CPU at 1.2 GHz, which probably is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, assisted by a RAM 1.5GB in size. The phone has a 13-megapixel camera at the back, while Samsung has put a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The phone is still in South Korea for a price of the equivalent of around 245 euros.
