Samsung shows Knox 2.0 with its own App Store
Samsung’s security environment Knox is Samsung’s Android smartphones make business-ready. In previous versions it was so, that there were separate areas for private apps and those from the working environment. Samsung has the way apps from Google Play are now processed, changed. So it is possible that these run secured, without being brought separately into the Knox environment. Google Play apps so they will automatically hedged. With the Knox Market Place it is also easier to provide employee devices with apps and also secure apps are offered there.
This Knox Marketplace allows the administrators of the company equipment to provide all units of employees at once with a specific app. In Knox Market Place will be found directly secure apps so far are already Box and GoToMeeting on board. But there are already working on apps for the numerous companies Knox Marketplace. Knox 2.0 is distributed in the second quarter on an Android update. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is the first device that is shipped directly to Knox 2.0, older devices require Android 4.4 KitKat. Since this is already being distributed for various Galaxy models, Knox is 2.0 nothing in the way. Unless a company uses Galaxy devices that will receive an update to Android 4.4.
