Samsung Smart Home Service Launches in U.S. and Korea
Samsung comes to the connected home a step closer. With the Samsung Smart Home Service users can control appliances like washing machines, lamps, refrigerators and televisions with a single app. For example, it is possible, “Good night” to say to the TV through the app and there are several devices are then equal to disabled, whether lighting or air conditioning. Also, a control from a distance is possible. Example? Activate the washing machine, while you are still at work. If you arrive at home, you can directly hang the freshly washed laundry. The dream of every worker (or something similar).
What devices can be used with Samsung’s Smart Home Service? The app is compatible with Adnroid devices from version 4.0 and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or via Samsung Apps. Also for the based Tizen Gear 2 there will be an app that also should receive adequate App 2014er all TV models. The devices can be linked, different in the various countries.
In Korea this is the 2014er air conditioning model (Q9000), a washing machine (Bubble Shot 3 W9000), all 2014 Smart TV models, Samsung Gear 2 and smartphones running Android 4.0 or higher.
In the U.S., it affects the Samsung Smart French Door Refrigerator, the Samsung smart front loading washing machine, all 2014 Smart TV models, Samsung Gear 2 and smartphones running Android 4.0 or higher.
During the year, more countries are then added. In the second half of the Samsung Smart Home Service is then extended to include the Smart Bulbs and Smart Ovens.
