Samsung will introduce a 13.3-inch display resolution «Ultra HD» tomorrow


Following LG’s plans regarding the exhibition Society for Information Display (SID) Display Week 2013 announced the second South Korean giant – Samsung. Samsung is no longer wishes to be an outsider and is going to present to the world a 13.3-inch panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels tomorrow.

This 13.3-inch high-definition panel is designed for use in 13-inch laptops. Recall that the laptop MacBook Pro with Retina display boasts a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, and the Samsung Series 9 – 2560 x 1440 pixels. With the exception of high-density index dots per inch, the new panel promises a 30-percent increase in the index of energy efficiency.

At the exhibition SID Display Week 2013, Samsung will bring 85-inch panels for Ultra HD TVs and a 10.1-inch LCD panels for tablets with a resolution WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels).

It is also reported that the South Korean giant Samsung booth, you will see a 23-inch touch panel that can recognize up to 10 touches simultaneously, and to learn more about the technology of Diamond Pixel, applied to the new 4.99-inch panels type AMOLED.
