Samsung’s smart watch with Android Wear make

Samsung is working on a smart watch with Android Wear, the version of Google’s mobile operating system for watches and other wearables. Samsung uses Tizen for his just-released smart watches Gear 2 and Gear Neo.

The first Galaxy Gear last year was still running on a regular customized version of Android, but will watch an upcoming Android Wear run the new platform from Google for wearables like smart watches. This Samsung deviates from the just-released Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, running Tizen. Samsung confirms the step across tech site The Verge.

Samsung is the third manufacturer promises Android Wear to work. LG presented before the square G Watch and the Motorola Moto lap 360. Such watches have both come out in the summer, though many details of the hardware, release and price still unknown.

The South Korean manufacturer will step in to support a total of four different platforms with wearables are: the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo with Tizen, the Gear Fit with its own platform, the first gear with a self-modified version of Android and more unfamiliar with Android smart watch Wear. Samsung did with smartphones even a few years ago, when the devices made with Symbian, Windows Mobile, Linux Mobile for Vodafone, a proprietary platform and Android, and thus used all operating systems that were available at that time.
