SanDisk has started selling the world’s fastest memory card for smartphones
The company Sandisk announced “the world’s fastest” card. Sandisk Extreme microSDHC and microSDXC UHS-I are designed to work with HD-video, and photos on smart phones, tablets and digital cameras with support for high-speed 4G networks .
New Sandisk memory card is read at up to 80 MB / s. Recording speed up to 50 MB / s, which helps unlock the potential of the digital camera in continuous shooting mode.
Speaking at an event in London, Vice President Sandisk Dinesh Bahal said there are three main reasons for the market launch of the new cards. The first – a smartphone.
“Next year will be sold around one billion new smartphones. By 2015, the average memory size will increase to 24 GB. Users are increasingly viewing the video on your phone and use a built-in camera. Together with the introduction of 4G increased image resolution. Smartphones need a memory that will support the work at those speeds, “- says Bach.
The other two factors – tablets, and digital cameras. Increased demand for these devices is the need for additional memory as internal memory is not enough.
Sandisk Extreme microSDHC cards and microSDXC offered at prices from 60 to 200 dollars, depending on the amount of memory. Versions are available for 16, 32 and 64 GB.
