Saudi Arabia has the largest number of online internet per month in the Arab region

A study conducted by Ipsos research institution that Saudi Arabia has the largest census that connects to the Internet a month between the Arab countries, the UAE has one of the largest spread of the Internet at home in the area.

The study included 11 Arab countries are the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Jordan, Morocco, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and the urban areas in Egypt.

The study indicated that about 8,493,252 people that connects to the Internet a month in Saudi Arabia, while dissolved Morocco in second place with 7,743,266 people, followed by Egypt at 5,197,556 people connected to the network site in the urban areas.

Came the United Arab Emirates ranked fourth with 4,674,537 people, while Iraq came in fifth place (3.852.420 people), and Syria came in sixth (2.736.715 people), and then Jordan in seventh place (1.907.451 people), and Kuwait ranked eighth (1.664.381 people), then Lebanon (1.590.847 people) and Qatar (890.160 people) and finally the Sultanate of Oman (498.483 people).

And occupied the UAE ranked first in the Arab region in the prevalence of the Internet at home, where they are accessible to the network site in 71% of the territory, followed by Kuwait at 62% and Qatar 61%, then Saudi Arabia by 60%, Lebanon 52%.

The study states that do not reach the Internet where more than half of its territory, namely Jordan, where up Internet 48% of its territory, and Morocco 35% and Syria 30% and Oman 28%, and urban areas in Egypt 25%, and finally Iraq by 23 %.

Noteworthy that the same research institution had revealed that prominent places favored by the Arab user to contact them to the Internet, and more devices and browsers that are contact.
