Belgian ISP Scarlet, a subsidiary Proximus, delete roaming charges for subscribers. Up to 45 days per year to customers for the same rate as domestically calls within Europe, texting and mobile internet.

Scarlet puts on in order to avoid the limit of 45 days that people outside Belgium a subscription to the provider and then always roaming, writes news agency Belga, inter alia, the site of HLN. For other claims from this week no longer charge more for using the phone outside Belgium.

Thus Proximus daughter is the only provider that does within the Benelux. Most providers charge the fee of example 6 cents per MB rate as a single provider even counting the domestic rate plus the surcharge. For prepaid customers roaming tariffs by some providers disappear though.

The new rates go by April 30 and are a prelude to the abolition of roaming charges in mid 2017. The European Commission must still determine a ‘fair use policy’ for data abroad which would prevent the Commission that those subscriptions with foreign providers decrease and continuous roaming.
