Scientists at MIT are working on flexible displays


If flexible displays, mass production of which, by the way, once again postponed , it seems a little for the future of the jump in technology, then what do you say about the flexible touch screens, the development of which is currently engaged researchers from MIT?

Darius Dando and Rob Hemsley demonstrated display that can change its shape, and then go back to its original state. To demonstrate their scientists have found the top of the 3D-display projector that tracks the movement of human hands and adjusts the picture under the current form (relief) of the display itself.


In fact, the two scientists invented a material which may in the future provide tactile feedback, for example, touch smart phones and laptops. With this on the screens of our devices can be build three-dimensional objects. An alternative method of application may be the same volume numeric keypad on the display.
