Scientists have found new evidence of the existence of space, “the germ of life,” March 4, 2013

Panspermia says that life on Earth is the result of the entry space so-called “germ of life.” According to this hypothesis, the nature of origin necessary for life molecules (replicators) can not be Earth. Now scientists have stated that due to the parabolic Green Bank radio telescope at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory have identified two molecules that were at the origin of life.

These molecules were found in the pellets of ice near the center of the Milky Way galaxy. The data were obtained by students who participated in a special summer research program of giant clouds of dust at a distance of 25,000 light-years from Earth. The molecules have been identified through the use of a technique called rotational spectroscopy, which is a microwave spectroscopy, measuring the absorption or emission of light by molecules in the gas, to understand changes in their rotational energy. In other words, the method allows you to record the distinctive “fingerprints” of microwave radiation of molecules in a gas.

Comparing data distinctive “fingerprints” of molecules known, astronomers can determine the gas in which they are located, even if they are located closer galactic center than the Earth itself. Unfortunately, this method is only applicable rotational spectroscopy in the gas phase, where it is possible to distinguish the transitions between individual quantum states known as the rotational energy levels.

One found a precursor molecules of adenine, which is the basis of DNA, and is called tsianometanimin. Second molecule – ethanamine, is a precursor of alanine. As adenine and alanine are considered key to the origin of life, when in fact they are only necessary from a chemical point of view.

Even the evolution of life on Earth has changed one letter in the genetic code (the replacement of thymine in DNA uracil in RNA). This split occurred so long ago that biologists still can not determine the exact date of this important event.

At the moment, there is no reason to believe that an alien life form need adenine or alanine. For the origin of life requires molecules with some or all of their beneficial properties and life forms that currently exist on Earth, were formed spontaneously.

According to scientists, alien molecules that somehow came from space to Earth, immediately reacted with formed chemicals. It is worth to mention the well-known the Miller – Urey, which simulate hypothetical conditions of the early period of the Earth to test the feasibility of chemical evolution. In the experiment, there were more than 20 amino acids, which are involved in the formation of most proteins on earth.

The problem is that no one can say how much the fine is the relationship between a specific set of 20 amino acids, which have given rise to many different proteins that exist on Earth.

It is possible that through natural selection, any protein can connect from the various reactions to transform into a more complex structure. Or, perhaps, the creation of the universe – it’s just a coincidence.

In any case, the list of molecules that could be created spontaneously, gradually decreasing. If in the past the Earth was “littered” complex organic molecules, these methods and technologies to help determine where they originate.
