An accessory that makes it possible to play games in augmented reality on the table has achieved its goal on Kickstarter. The company behind the device, Spatial Gaming, expects to deliver the accessory in March next year.

At the time of writing, there are 205 backers for the campaign , which totaled $ 25,000, but there are still 28 days to go. With this the goal has already been achieved and the company is going to try to take the device in production with the name Spatial.

The Spatial is a screen with controller and camera to play games on tables in augmented reality. The intention is that players can see and influence the gameplay using physical objects on the screen. The Spatial has a dock for a smartphone, which provides the processor power to play the games.

The Spatial can only run games made for the system. According to the campaign page, games are already under development, including a Minecraft variant under the name HoloCraft and various multiplayer games with various themes.
