Sega mentions in PC quarterly report the PC alongside PS4

as platform for Yakuza 6
Sega is probably going to release Yakuza 6: The Song of Life for the PC. The game is already available on the PlayStation 4, but now Sega has mentioned the game in an overview of the quarterly figures, where the PC is also called the platform as well as the PlayStation 4.

It is possible that the report in the report on the quarterly figures is incorrect and that at least there is no PC version for the time being, partly because the release date of April this year is that of the PlayStation 4. The release of a PC version would however fit into a trend. Sega has already released Yakuza 0 for the PC on Wednesday and will release a PC-port of Yakuza Kiwami sometime later this year.

Sega Sammy, the holding company in which Sega and Sammy are brought together, did not have a good quarter in terms of turnover. This figure fell by almost 36 percent compared with the same quarter a year earlier to 531 million euros. Profit fell by 97 percent to 2.6 million euros. According to Sega, the popularity of existing titles decreases through digital distribution channels; the company sold more physical games: from 4.56 million a year ago to 5.7 million in the past quarter. According to Sega, the revival is mainly due to titles such as Persona 5 and Yakuza 6.

Yakuza 6 has been out in Japan since December 2016 and only came out in Europe and the United States in April this year. Previously publisher Sega released a demo , which by mistake proved to be the full version. The Yakuza games fall into the action adventure genre and contain RPG elements. In the games, players with the Japanese Yakuza gangster Kazuma Kiryu enter an open world from a third-person perspective.
