Synology Interesting for many Synology NAS owners among us: there is a package for BitTorrent Sync on a Synology NAS. This ensures that folders can be kept in sync with your devices on your Synology NAS. Since a NAS is switched most certainly yes, but not the computer, the use of the BitTorrent parts on the Synology site worthwhile.

Why? It’s simple: put the case, I want to synchronize a large file, but only the one computer on who provides this, this file would just not via P2P synchronized whenever the computer in the meantime is off and the file is not yet in network is available. BitTorrent sync but also works with LAN sync so that files in the home network quickly land on the NAS and there are fast for everyone, safe and easily accessible. The device takes a few minutes and already you have a personal dropbox home.

BitTorrent on the NAS to install:

Log into the admin interface of your NAS from the center point package, type it in the address tab in the package sources First you should by the way a new shared folder in the administration of your NAS set up through which you stop everything synchronized.
