Shadow Realms Preview – BioWare does asymmetrically

Asymmetrical multiplayer games seem suddenly popular. With Evolve 2K Games has a hit in hands as we fairs as E3 and GamesCom to believe. Previews and the rows Perhaps lit by that success, BioWare is working now on a somewhat similar game. During GamesCom BioWare announced part of Electronic Arts, quite unexpectedly a whole new game that is made by BioWare facility in Austin. And also let the game – Shadow Realms – a pure multiplayer game in which two sides against each other. As with Evolve one camp consists of four players, who compete against one single and much stronger opponent in the other camp.

The premise of both games is the same, though there are of course major differences. Thus lies with Evolve emphasis not on the story, but purely on the action. Shadow Realms is a game from BioWare, which almost automatically means that story is in the game. If we are to believe the makers is that a typical BioWare story, so with room for humor, romance and betrayal. Unfortunately we have inherited little of that story, though it is clear that BioWare has chosen a completely new angle. At least, a new angle for BioWare. Shadow Realms plays because in the present, and, moreover, that “today” realistic.

Shadow Realms

In that war, the Shadow Legions just recruited a new kind of warrior, in the form of the Shadow Lord. Moreover, the Shadow Legions invented a way to leave Embra and pulling, of course with the aim to conquer to our world. Here come the two worlds so together. Fortunately bump the arrival of the Shadow Lords on earth dormant magical consciousness. In a group Heroes magical powers come loose they did not know they had.
