Sharp presents phone that has almost no bezels

The Japanese manufacturer Sharp has introduced two Android 4.4 smartphones that meet the top and sides have almost no bezels. Of the larger variant is 82 percent of the front screen, compared for example, 70 percent of the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Sharp uses its own S-CG screens in the new smartphones. The LTPS screens are required on the sides bezels of less than 2.3mm, so that the bezels on the device as well as loss, also at the top. The speaker and front camera therefore sit at the bottom of the unit; presumably users should turn the unit upside down during a call to make themselves understood.

The Crystal X is 83 percent of the front screen, the Crystal is 78 percent. That’s more than, say, around 75 percent of the LG G2 and G3, the devices with the least bezels on the Dutch market. 5 with the Crystal “screen is 131x67mm relative to other apparatus with 5” therefore also smaller screens. He is still slightly larger than an iPhone 5s.

There are two variants: Crystal has a 5 “screen with 1280×720 pixels and comes in late August and the Crystal X has a 5.5” screen with 1920×1080 pixels and is available until December. The Crystal is, moreover, not only in Japan but also in the United States, with provider Sprint. This company has a CDMA network for 2G and 3G. The unit will therefore not work on Dutch and Belgian mobile networks. The Japanese version might work well in the Netherlands and Belgium.
