Shows Dell Latitude laptops with thin bezel and Alienware with OLED screen

Dell has shown new laptops at CES including business Latitude models feature Infinity Edge thin-bezel and an Alienware laptop with OLED screen. The manufacturer also brings budget Inspiron laptops.

The Latitude 13 in the 7000 series is Dell’s first business machine which is provided with an Infinity Edge-screen. Have previously received the XPS XPS 13 and 15 already such a screen, which has edges of such a 5mm thick. The new Latitude features two USB ports that support C-thunderbolt 3. There are also mini-HDMI and USB 3.0 available. One of the two USB ports c can be used to load and the manufacturer affixes USB accessories c-off in order to expand the number of interfaces. There will be models with full HD resolution and qHD + variants, and standard laptop has a housing made of carbon fiber, but there also appear versions with an aluminum chassis. The processor is a Core-M model and thereby the laptop does not have to be cooled with a fan. The laptop appears in March in the UK for an undisclosed price.

The Dell Latitude 12 7000 is a business 12.5 “-convertible and consists of a tablet with a keyboard accessory. Standard Dell delivers a Slim Keyboard with coexisting a thin keyboard cover with an adjustable stand. Users may also 120 dollars a premium purchase Keyboard, which features keys with more travel and better touchpad. The tablet is magnetically connected with the keyboards and these parts have no interfaces or additional battery. The interfaces of the Latitude 12 are two USB c ports with thunderbolt 3, a card reader and SIM card slot. The starting price of this model is 1199 euros and it comes in February, available in a full-HD and an associate professor variant.

The other laptops Dell at CES show for the first time, its new Inspiron 11 models. The Inspiron 11 3000 Series has 11.9 “screens with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. Dell provides them with USB 3.0 and HDMI, and there’s 2GB of memory and 32GB EMMC storage memory present as often with budget notebooks with Windows 10. The processor is an Intel Celeron Skylake generation. Dell brings models in blue, red and white out from January 18, for a price of 301 euros.

New Alienware Laptops appeared not, but there was the announcement that the Alienware 13 later this year with an OLED screen can be fitted. That screen will get a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and the response is 1 to 2ms. Apart from the option screen, nothing changes in the gaming laptop. What the additional cost of the existing 13 Alienware, Dell did not say.
