Signify, as Philips Lighting is called today, has made Philips Hue Sync available for Windows 10 and macOS. With the software, users can synchronize home lighting with games, video and music.

Philips Hue Sync ensures that the colors and intensity of Hue lights adapt to the display of the PC or Mac. The software analyzes the image and with algorithms ensures that the lighting adapts in real time. The software also works with audio: the analysis focuses on the rhythm and the type of number.

The interface of the software allows users to choose whether the lights should be synchronized with games, music or video. In addition, the brightness can be adjusted with buttons for subtle, medium, high or intense. Users can also choose a color palette for music.

Signify announced the software in January at the CES, then under the company name Philips Lighting. The Philips Hue Sync software can be downloaded for free .
