Sixteenth SysAdminDay puts administrators in the spotlight




For the sixteenth time, the last Friday of July completely dominated by the system administrator. The men and women who keep the Internet running and protect users from themselves, be put on that day in the sun.

The SysAdminDay as the day semi-officially called, is organized annually since 2000 and is intended to praise the work of sysadmins. SysAdminDay was invented by Ted Kekatos, an American system. He was inspired by an advertisement in which an HP system was thanked for installing a printer, and before that was a gift.
