“Slaps And Beans”: Game planned around Bud Spencer and Terence Hill

Bud-spencer-terence-hill-slaps-and-beans-logo At the moment, Kickstarter is running a crowdfunding project that could fulfill some of the youthful dreams: the developers of the Trinity team are planning a game called “Slaps And Beans” with the two Klamauk pundits Bud Spencer and Terence Hill in the main roles. Who grew up in the 1980s, surely knows the one or the other film with the popular duo and may have already longed for a game. Now this wish could be delayed, if the targeted sum of at least € 130,000 should come together. The developers have already received nearly 44,000 euros from bakers.

Matching to the Haudrauf films, for which Bud Spencer and Terence Hill have been jointly known since then, “Slaps And Beans” is a Beat ’em Up in retro style. The graphics are reminiscent of arcade puzzlers of past days. Of course, the game should then be played in both single and multiplayer modes. In addition to the sidescrolling action, there will also be various mini-games, which unleash the hustle and bustle.

The game is supposed to tell a story of its own, but, of course, many references to the two main actors’ films. Even if the game title like “Double Dragon” and “Golden Ax” take as role models, there will be even smaller knobbies. Then you have to take advantage of the agility of Terence Hill, for example, to reach a platform that is inaccessible to Bud Spencer. If there are enough coasters, there may be the chance to license music from Oliver Onions, Franco Micalizzi or the brothers La Bionda, who had inspired the soundtracks of the classic films with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.

More you learn to “Slaps And Beans” on the Kickstarter page . A digital copy of the game will be given if the project is successful, starting at 15 euros. The Trinity team plans to release “Slaps and Beans” in December 2017.
