Test scores and early 2013’s 13-inch MacBook Pro are similar, but this computer is currently unable to determine whether they have Retina Display. This computer uses Core i5-4258U operating frequency of 2.4GHz, with 8GB RAM, and run OS X Mavericks Special Edition, version Build 13A2050.

Core i5-4258U processor with the MacBook Air is a low voltage version of the same, but the 13-inch MacBook Pro version will be used with the Intel Iris Graphics 5100, so the overall performance will be little better than the MacBook Air.

Primate Labs of John Poole has produced this new computer and other 13-inch MacBook Pro models comparison chart, we can see that computer performance increase 5-8%.

We can not predict the front of the new Apple 13-inch MacBook Pro upgrades focus on power or performance, particularly that Retina Dis play will eat up a lot of electricity in the case, but through in the last WWDC, the new MacBook Air view, perhaps we can look forward to the new version of the MacBook Pro in life can have a pretty good improvement.
