Smart Home Appliances At GITEX Shopper Are Preparing Homes For The Future

The boom in smart home transformation around the world has led observers to consider the year 2017 as the “smart home year”, with forecasts that the number will double five times from 90 million in 2016 to about 463 million smart homes in 2021.

GITEX Shopper 2017 , the largest annual consumer electronics and consumer electronics exhibition in the Middle East, will be exhibiting a wide range of smart home products as it continues on Saturday, September 30, at Zabeel Hall 3, 4, 5 and 6 at Dubai World Trade Center.

Sharaf DG, one of the region’s largest regional retailers, is exhibiting at GITEX Shopper a wide range of smart home appliances, including Google’s Smart Home, which runs Google’s Assistant personal assistant, And thermostat system from Nest, a smart energy-saving control company.

Jumbo Electronics offers state-of-the-art smart home security devices such as the Greens’ door lock with a fingerprint keypad and a doorbell, which lets you take a direct look at home at any time via smartphone application.

Last year saw the introduction of many smart home systems, including the Eco System from Amazon, Apple’s Home Kit, Smart Home from Google, Smart Gadgets from Samsung, , And others. Smart systems allow users to control a variety of home appliances for easy home management, such as front door lock, lighting control, temperature, alarm clocks, and window blinds.

This year’s event features a wide range of state-of-the-art smartphones, HDTVs, laptops, wearable technologies, smart watches, cameras, gaming systems, virtual reality devices and more.

Tickets for the exhibition are sold at AED 30 per ticket. Admission is free for children under five.
