Smartphone HTC M8 without capacitive buttons is expected in March
Successor flagship smartphone HTC One expected in late March. Premiere unit held in New York. This was reported by one of the users ‘Twitter’ under the name EvLeaks, known publications of various information leaks.
New Taiwanese smartphone company HTC, which is codenamed HTC M8, is one of the most anticipated mobile devices in 2014. If published EvLeaks confirmed, the smartphone will miss the upcoming exhibition Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where many expected to see it firsthand. Apparently, HTC intends to hold its own event.
According to preliminary data, HTC One will receive a 5-inch 1080p-display, quad-core Snapdragon processor 800 with 2.3 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, a slot for microSD-card and internal storage capacity of 16 GB. Also expected battery capacity 2900 mAh and the operating system Android 4.4 KitKat Sense user interface 6.
Other sources indicate the presence of two sensors in smartphone cameras, one of which allows you to change the focus after the picture has already been done. A similar technology is implemented in the camera Lytro.
In another leak, published over the weekend, HTC M8 was presented without capacitive buttons that are used in HTC smartphones over the years. Now, instead they use virtual counterparts. By the way, there were rumors about this for a long time. At the end of last year was published fragment of a screenshot of the operating system Windows Phone 8.1 , which made it clear that Microsoft is moving away from the use of physical buttons to help manufacturers reduce the cost of its proprietary mobile devices. The software giant has even attempted to force install HTC Android-smartphones in its “plitochnkuyu OSes.”
HTC company itself does not give any comments regarding HTC M8.
