Snape Chat Competes With Instagram On New Users

Snape video messaging application has registered more new users in the United States compared to Instagram , and it seems that this increase will not last for a long period of time as it diminishes with Instagram’s focus on global hegemony while Snape Chat focuses on local users. The new figures, according to Jumpshot, which tracks clicks on emails to emphasize new users from both systems, do not count those who have confirmed new accounts via text messages.

The market analysis firm found that 52 percent of new US users took part in Snape Chat last August, compared with 48 percent for the Instagram platform, which represents a decline in dominance in terms of new registration numbers at Snape Chat in the United States , While the report said Snape has accounted for 38.5 percent of the new global subscriptions compared to 61.5 percent for Instagram in August.

Snape has not focused on increasing its global user base, preferring instead to target users in developed countries with strong mobile networks and larger bank accounts. Since the acquisition of Facebook in 2012, Instagram has seen a rise in the number of users 700 million active monthly users globally, a number not seen by Snape Chat, which does not disclose the number of active users per month, which is the main criterion in determining the rate of growth of users.

The SnapHat application has seen its active users not grow as fast as investors want, with second-quarter earnings figures showing 173 million active users a day, up 21 percent from a year earlier. Competition with Instagram makes it more difficult for Snape to expand into other age groups, and competition intensifies as the image-sharing platform copies Snape’s features relentlessly, thus meeting the needs of new users.
