Software update: 1Password 7.3.657 / 7.2.6




For security reasons, it is better to use different passwords so that if a particular service allows passwords to leak, not all of your other accounts with the same password are accessible. To keep track of all these different passwords, password managers are a godsend. 1Password is one of these, and is available as a web application and as an app on different platforms, such as Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. AgileBits released two new versions a few days ago: 7.2.6 for iOS and 7.3.657 for Windows. In addition, beta’s have appeared for Android and macOS. The lists of changes look like this:

Translation updates.
In certain cases, 1Password could not complete an update due to existing old app folders that were not cleaned up. 1Password now removes the stale app folders before installing an update. {OPW-3713, OPW-3706}
Fixed a crash related to items with empty entries for the Related Items section. {OPW-3705}
Fixed a crash related to refreshing detail views when there is no icon to load. {submitted-crash-reports}
Incorrect versions were written for 1Password in the registry entries for uninstaller.
The keyboard shortcut to change field type would work in template fields that can not be changed. {OPW-3708}
