Software Update: Argus TV 2.3




Version 2.3 of Argus TV is true. This program was created after the two developers of For The Record it could not agree on the future, and each have their own ways are gone.

Argus TV TV programs can be recorded. It may then use any online TV guides, so that the programs do not have to be entered manually. What is being recorded is determined on the basis of rule sets. Also, there is the possibility to resolve conflicts manually. The program can be used by itself or in combination with MediaPortal or XBMC . The release notes of the past week released version 2.2 of Argus TV are as follows:

Here is the list or Implemented changes since 2.2.2:

Too many internal changes to even start to sum them up;)
Notifier: now always connects over https and will show balloons as When You Are remotely connected.
Scheduler will use Wake-On-LAN on recorders if They Are on a different machine.
Scheduler: CalculateUpcomingRecordings enhanced to better handle the case of a recorder being disconnected.
Scheduler console will now auto-refresh live streams, active recordings and upcoming programs.
Recorder: a DiSEqC command That fails to be presented after tuning will now be resent When The graph HAS Entered running state (this fixes certainement Black Gold and Pinnacle cards).
MediaPortal: added support for 1.7.x, 1.8, 1.9 and 1:10 FINAL
Updated Schedules Direct importer code in the Guide Importer.
Updated Scheduler, Recorder and installer icon to a more “modern” look.
Updated UltiDev WebServer to Pro
