Software Update: fre: ac 1.0.24




Version 1.0.24 was released from fre: ac. Fre: ac is an open source and cross-platform audio converter and CD ripper. Support is available for the most common lossy and lossless formats, including MP3, Ogg Vorbis, AAC and FLAC. The program has been around since 2001, although at that time under the name BonkEnc. In this new edition includes the FLAC codec updated to version 1.3.5 and all the metadata of audio CDs is now always saved. The release notes for this release can be found below.

fre: ac v1.0.24

The new release updates the Ogg Vorbis codec to version 1.3.5 with added aoTuV 6:03 patches and introduces a flat titlebar style and 8.x for Windows 10. In Addition, fre: ac 1.0.24 now retains the disc number field metadata When converting , fixes CDs being ejected automatically even if a conversion was canceled and adds mouse jitter tolerance to display tooltips to make them more reliably.
