Software Update: HitmanPro.Alert 3.5.2 build 558

SurfRight has released version 3.5.2 of HitmanPro.Alert. Increasingly, we see reports about Internet security and the failure thereof. Hackers try to come up with malware behind financial data in order to plunder accounts. An antivirus program and firewall are often not enough to stop an attack. HitmanPro.Alert can check the integrity of the Web browser. It is not a browser plug-in, but runs as a system service and release from the top right through a so-called flyout window to know if the browser’s integrity has been compromised by malware or not. Support is available for Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera and derived browsers.

Since version 3, the program is no longer free. Browser security is still free, but for protection against Crypto Locker -ransomware, which encrypts all files on the computer, must be paid. A single license of SurfRight, both HitmanPro.Alert as HitmanPro used, prices start at twenty euros. More information is on this page to find. The changelog for this release is as follows:

Compatibility for computers running Windows 10 Anniversary Update with Secure Boot enabled
CryptoGuard ransomware detection
CryptoGuard on Distributed File Systems (DFS)
Compatibility with Norton Security
Compatibility with Trend Micro
Compatibility with Bitdefender on 64-bit computers
Compatibility with Trusteer Rapport on 64-bit computers
CryptoGuard false positive while previewing many Excel files
BSOD Caused by WipeGuard resource locking
