Software Update: LAV Filters 0.68.1
Version 0.68.1 of the LAV Filters true. The LAV Filters are a collection of open source DirectShow filters that allow the most common audio and video formats can be played in any media player of choice. It is part of include the K-Lite Codec Pack and the Combined Community Codec Pack . There are also media players, such as Media Player Classic – Home Cinema and VLC Media Player , which are already standard on board. In this release the following changes and improvements have been made:
NEW: Support for reading metadata tags from MKV files (including the “3D plane” MVC 3D tag from MakeMKV 1.9.10 and newer)
Fixed: Improved handling of QuickTime codecs MKV files
Fixed: S302M audio streams with non-PCM content did not work anymore (requires an external decoder)
Changed: Flags for BT.2020 are exported box in DXVA2_ExtendedFormat (previously only Reported to madVR, since the Windows SDK did not Specify them)
Changed: Prevent connections to the “AVI Decompressor” filter-which could result in a broken image or otherwise crashes
Fixed: Some progressive backups could report the wrong FPS When deinterlacing software was turned on
Fixed: MPEG-2 streams using “intra-refresh” did not properly decode
Fixed: Decoding MPEG audio streams from the Microsoft MPEG-1 Splitter could result in playback starting with an audible glitch
