Software Update: Opera 30.0.1835.52
Opera has released version 30 of its eponymous Web browser released. Opera two years ago switched from the proprietary rendering engine, Presto to Blink. This is part of Chromium, which, inter alia, is also used by Google Chrome. Opera is available for Windows, Linux and OS X. There are also versions for BSD and Solaris, but these are still based on the old technology. The most important improvements made can be found below in this issue.

Opera now syncs your browsing preferences and settings.
HTML5 video media source extensions support for high-definition screens.
Updated support for the latest Chromium / Blink release, version 43.
