Oracle released version 11.0.2 of Java Standard Edition a while ago, which also received the label LTS . From this version, Oracle will only release the Java SE Development Kit (JDK), in both the Oracle JDK and OpenJDK flavors, with the latter being offered under the gpl license. No Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and Server Java Runtime Environment (Server JRE) will be released. It is however possible to jlink a smaller runtime with jlink . Oracle Java also released 8 update 202 and 201. The release notes of these versions are as follows:

The full version string for this update release is 11.0.2 + 9 (where “+” means “build”). The version number is 11.0.2.
