Software update: qBittorrent 4.1.0

Version 4.1.0 of qBittorrent has been released. This open source torrent client has versions for Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD, and does not show ads. The program is developed with Qt and is based on libtorrent (rasterbar) and Boost . The program is the brainchild of the French student Christophe Dumez, who has been working on it since the beginning of 2006. Nowadays it is maintained by the community.

In version 4, the switch from Qt4 to 5 has been made and the program has also been given a new look and logo. Furthermore, the program can be used in portable mode, torrents can now also be shared for a certain period of time and can no longer only be reached to a certain percentage, and the screen in which you can create torrents yourself is taken care of. In version 4.1.0 the following changes and improvements have been made:

qBittorrent v4.1.0 release
This is a major version bump, because there was a ton of code commits from the last one. There a new v2 WebAPI now, but v1 is still supported too. The Windows 32-bit installer now uses Qt 5.6.3 instead of 5.7.1. The 5.6.3 version is an LTS release and newer than the 5.7.1 version. The 5.7.x series does not offer anything useful for our usage.
