Software update: R & D ShutUp10 01/03/1357
A much-discussed aspect of Windows 10 is the amount of information that is sent to Microsoft. This is often useful because so many things can be better handled. But all is not as useful, so there are certainly concerns about privacy. Fortunately, many of these “phone-home options are disabled, though they are not all that easy to find.
O & O Software, known from his defragmenters, has made available a free tool with which many of these features can be easily turned on or off. Moreover, it offers the option to pre-create a system restore point. ShutUp10 is just over 200KB in size and does not need to be installed in order to do its job. In this release the following changes and improvements have been made:
Changes in Version 1.3.1357
New Status Display When creating system restore points
Dialog Box When new start required after closing R & D ShutUp10
Creation of system restore points revamped
Small bug fixes
