Software Update: Sugar Sync 3.2.0




Version 3.2.0 was released SugarSync. This onlineopslag- and synchronization service is similar to services like Dropbox , Wuala , Google Drive, OneDrive and iCloud. The program can be used to provide a back up, or to have easy access to files in different locations. SugarSync has only paid subscriptions with a storage of 60GB, 100GB or 250GB, with prices starting at $ 75 per year. Previously, there was also a free account possible with 5GB storage, but earlier this year is abolished . Clients exist for various mobile platforms , Windows and OS X , but not yet for Linux. In addition there is an Outlook plug-in . In version 3.0, especially the desktop app taken care of, so it is now easier to see what files and folders are what computer are shared and who have access to it. The following changes have been made since then:

Changes in version 3.2.0

Adds new status screen to see-which files are uploading or downloading. A “View Syncing Files” option is added to the SugarSync menu accessible from the Mac Menu Bar or the Windows System Tray.
Note: This screen can be accessed by ook Clicking on the application menu button or the Hummingbird status icon inside the client.
Enables multiple item selection for several at file & folder operations-including open, show in finder, download, copy public link, disable public link and disable sharing

Changes in version 3.1.1

Adds the ability to upload files and folders into Existing sub-folders
Adds the ability to download files or folders from cloud folders to your local computer
Adds proxy configuration for customers using proxy servers to connect to SugarSync
Fixes an issue That Could cause SugarSync to crash
Adds first-time-use experience to help new users get started
Adds translation support for Japanese and French

Changes in version 3.0.3

This release addresses various bug fixes.

Changes in version 3.0.2 – Mac only

Fixed crash issues That been prevented the application from launching.
