VueScan logo (75 pix) Hamrick Software has released version 5.9.20 VueScan. The program can be used as a replacement in twain scanners supplied drivers and often offers more options. In many cases, the program can also control scanners as the manufacturer has released a driver for the operating system. In addition to scanning, it can also perform some of the operations, such as crop, Sharpen, grain reduction and adjusting the color balance.

VueScan is available for Windows, OS X and Linux, and offers support for over 2400 scanners on Windows, OS X over 2100 and 1900 under Linux. There is also support for raw files for 600 digital cameras . The program can be used in 28 languages ​​, including Dutch.
