Hamrick Software has released version 9.5.42 of VueScan. The program can be used as a replacement for the included TWAIN drivers and often provides more options for scanners. In many cases, the program can also control scanners as the manufacturer has released a driver for that operating system. In addition, it can also scan to perform some operations, such as crop, Sharpen, grain reduction and adjusting the color balance. VueScan is available for Windows, OS X and Linux, and offers support for more than 2400 scanners on Windows, OS X, and more than 2,100 in 1900 under Linux. There is also support for raw files for 600 digital cameras . The program can be used in 28 languages ​​, including Dutch.
