Software Update: WSUS Offline Update 9.5




Version 9.5 of WSUS Offline Update is released. This program allows Windows computers that have no or a slow Internet connection, still equipped with the latest updates from Microsoft. By simply one or more operating systems, office suites and language checking, all available updates from the ftp server download from Microsoft. If the updates are in, there is either an iso file by language or by operating system created. Via a CD or DVD that other computers can then be quickly and easily updated. In version 9.5, the following changes and improvements have been made:

Integrated November 2014 Update Rollup (kb3000850) for Windows 8.1 (x86 / x64) and Server 2012 R2
Support added for Windows Essentials 2012 – not yet available for Linux download script
Fix: Download part did not completely exclude kb2976627 (MS14-051, superseded cumulative security update for IE)
Fix: Microsoft revoked kb2949927 for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 (x86 / x64)
Fix: DoUpdate.cmd script will now raise a warning or an error Instead if most recent Windows Update Agent installation file is not found
Fix: CreateISOImage.cmd and scripts will now create ISO images containing Joliet directory information as well as UDF file system
Fix: Removed obsolete Security Update for Flash Player (KB913433 and KB923789)
Fix: Removed obsolete Security Updates for MDAC 2.8 SP1 (KB911562 and KB927779)
Fix: reviewed and consolidated internal structures
