Find a Question:
SONOAIR makes Sonos speakers to AirPlay receivers
How many of our readers, I use in my home a Sonos system. I’m losing on the Multiroom system now only once a few words, because it is quite nischig, what it is about the same. Sonos-use Mac users, there will certainly be pleased.
I blogged here some time ago about AirSonos . With a little Gefrickel so you could make his Sonos boxes AirPlay-enabled, also reflect the Mac audio output from this. Nice thing that worked just as far. But the whole is an easier way. Much easier. But unfortunately, so far just only for OS X, which is a shame.
SONOAIR, still in beta, is a software, which rendered the original AirSonos Frickelei. You simply start the app and it does everything in the background. During its lifetime, it is not only possible to control LEDs and volume of Sonos speakers, you can logically be spending his system sounds of the active computer over them.
Groups also seem to work, but this need via the Sonos software, the groups will only be defined once. By the way: from iTunes you can go out naturally on the AirPlay icon, you would have to spend the whole system sounds, so you have to plow through Alt + click your volume icon in the menu bar of Macs, so that all speakers become visible.Viewing:-538
