Sony announces new Bravia line of UHDTV with HDR on

Sony has announced its new 2016 line of Bravia TVs. The manufacturer shall uhd four models in different formats from which all four support the display of HDR images. In addition there are two HD TVs into smaller formats.

The “Bravia 4K HDR’ models that Sony will release on the market provide all the resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and HDR support. The TVs are equipped with Sony’s X1 image processor and the Android operating system TV.

The flagship of Sony’s new line is the XD94 with a diagonal of 75 inches. The TV has a full array LED -Backlight with local dimming. The model one step below the X94D is in the product range, the X93D, comes in a 65 “- and 55” variant from. The X93D is a thin edge-lit LED backlight with local dimming feature and is at its thinnest point 11,8mm thick.

The SD85 and XD85 are also UHDTV with HDR support, but not from a ‘floating’ design, such as the X94D and X93D, but equipped with a regular design. The SD85 comes in 65 “- and 55” formats available and the X85D also appears with screen diagonals of 75 “and 85”.

Sony also brings out the WD75 and WD6. These are TVs with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, which should no Android TV set and in sizes from 32 “to 49” true.
