“Sony hackers had help from the inside ‘




The attackers would have broken into systems from Sony Pictures say they have received help from the inside. One hacker claims to have the attack designed to achieve ‘equality’, though it is unclear what exactly he meant it.

Sony logo In an e-mail technology site The Verge says one of the hackers that “we have worked with other employees to come in.” That indicates that the hackers have had help from Sony employees or self employed by Sony, concludes The Verge. The attacker is said to have carried out the attack in terms of ‘equality’. “We want equality, Sony did not,” said the hacker.

Monday came to light that systems from Sony Pictures, the branch of Sony that makes films and TV series, would be cracked. Desktops staff would thus become unusable worldwide. The hackers claim that Sony meets certain conditions, although it is unclear which. Sony has not confirmed the hack, and would only indicate that there is an ‘ICT problem.
