Sony introduces Z2 smartphone that can record 4K video




Sony has telecom exhibition MWC in Barcelona a new smartphone with 5.2 “screen with resolution of 1920×1080 pixels presented. Xperia Z2 has a quad-core Snapdragon 801 and comes in April this year available.

In addition to the M2 Xperia smartphone and a new tablet that appears under the name Xperia Tablet Z2, Sony has a new smartphone called Xperia Z2 announced . The device features a 5.2 “display with FullHD resolution.

The camera has a 20.7-megapixel Exmor RS variant 1/2.3-type Sensor and Sony G Lens. The image processor is the Sony Bionz who also used his camera. The camera can record video in include 4K resolution and a stereo microphone should provide adequate sound quality.

The processor is the new Snapdragon 801: a quad-core running at 2.3 GHz, which is combined with the Adreno 330 GPU. The Android phone has LTE support and a battery capacity of 3200mAh. Like the other Xperia devices, the Z-Z2 dust and waterproof according to IP55 and IP58 indicator respectively. Sony provides a noisecanceling headset along with the device and the smartphone is available from April for an undisclosed price.
