Sony Mobile gets into a joint venture for corporate drones




Sony Mobile focuses along with ZMP a joint venture for corporate drones. Sony Mobile will include the camera, sensors and telecommunications technologies to deliver the drones. The company expects to applications in the field of Internet of things.

In early August the joint venture Aero Sense “must become a reality, with Sony Mobile just over 50 percent gets in hands and ZMP slightly less. ZMP is a company that manufactures robots and is also working on autonomous vehicles. Sony has invested in the past in the company. ZMP now wants to share his knowledge with automated driving deploy unmanned aerial vehicle.

In early 2016, the first corporate drone services to be rolled out. The drones must inter alia be used for measurement, research, observe and inspect, writes Sony.
