Sony released the world’s first curved LED-TV
The company Sony introduced the world’s first curved HDTV with LED backlighting. For those who now sits in a light loss and wonders – and how curved OLED-TVs from LG, which is almost half a year are sold in the market – answer: LED and OLED are two completely different technologies. Its curved LED-novelty, which among other things has impressive viewing angles, Sony has named S990A.
These same viewing angle both vertically and horizontally 178 degrees up here. TV is much cheaper than their more technologically advanced OLED-brothers and offered for pre-order at 3999.99 dollars. Deliveries of the 65 inch model Sony hopes to begin from October 27.
Curved LED-TV S990A offers 3D-capable (the bundle includes a set of passive 3D-glasses) and promises a dynamic contrast ratio at 000:1 1000. In addition, the novelty is equipped with an integrated sound system, virtual 5.1 sound, and promises a set of technologies that are aimed at improving the quality of displayed colors, and black depth.
