Sony W8: beautiful to look at, great to see

Football is the most watched sport in the world and also in the Netherlands are major football games almost always up in the top ten ratings. The TV sales experience invariably a resurgence as a European or World Championship arrives. At Sony, they also know that with football sells TVs and so Sony official partner of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The 50-inch W8, which we see in this review, is not only the Livefootball mode with smart TV. The TV can also display 3D using the two supplied, active 3D glasses. The TV now makes recommendations in response to the television to which you are watching and the viewing history is thereby included. The TV has a unique base that can serve as a wall bracket at a time.

The W8 series consists of three full-HD models in screen sizes 42, 50 and 55 inches. At the time of writing, the 40 “model about 740 euros and we tested 50” version cost around 900 euros. The model with 55 “screen will be available later.
