Space53: A sanctuary for drones – Airport Twente gets second life

In Enschede, the former Twenthe Airport, is a venue opened for testing, training and development of unmanned aircraft. Space53 is the first of its kind. This site companies, government organizations and universities can test their UAV’s, without too much hassle with regulations and permits.

That there is even large companies need, Nokia shows. This is one of the companies here will be testing its system for air traffic drones. Additionally eventually hobbyists, organizations can meet at Space53 to share knowledge and experience and should find their way to the drone airport.
