St. Petersburg monument to Steve Jobs sold for 10 million rublesMonument to Steve Jobs, who was installed in Technopark Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO) and removed some time ago due to the need to be repaired, as it turned out, would not be returned to the place. Company ZEFS, on the initiative and the means which it was created, said that after the restoration of the monument was put up for auction, which ended on Wednesday, December 10th. Under the agreement, the details of the transaction and the names of its members will be announced until early next year, but the rate of successful bidder is known: it amounted to 10 million rubles. All proceeds will be spent on grants to young Russian IT-developers.
