Star Trek: Renegades raises funds for a new episode
Star Trek: Renegades through Kickstarter has taken enough money together to make a delivery. The first episode has already been successfully funded through kickstarter and IndieGoGo campaigns and came out on August 24, 2015.
The aim of this campaign was to raise $ 350,000, converted 322 000 euro. Eventually there’s $ 378 181 raised, which stretch goal of $ 600,000 to possibly make a third installment, was not achieved.
The second episode is called The Requiem. The pilot episode was released in August, was shot on film length. By obtaining the campaign is delivered directly started the pre-production to 1.2 and then the real production will start in 2016. Pre-production means for the creators among other things that the script is written, designed and built the sets and the different props are made, like the phasers, tricoders and whatnot. One of the objectives if more money would be collected, was to build a new Icarus Bridge, but that goal, dollar 1.05 million was not achieved. Extra attention to CGI in post-production is not achieved. Previously had 800 000 are retrieved.
The cast consists of Corin Nemec as Capt. Alvarez, Courtney Peldon as Shree, Gary Graham as Ragnar, Tim Russ as Tuvok, Adrienne Wilkinson as Lexxa, Walter Koenig as Adm.
