Steve Wozniak: I created Apple II just out of fun

Legendary Silicon Valley resident and co-founder of Apple Computer Steve Wozniak admitted that he does not consider his contribution to the development of personal computers so outstanding that everyone knew about it. According to him, sometimes even he himself is surprised how he managed to invent something like Apple II, which made him famous all over the world.

“I do not want to be remembered as the inventor of the first personal computer,” Wozniak modestly. “In the end, we knew how important computers are and how they can benefit people.” I would like other engineers, remembering me, say: “Wow, but he was the one who invented that cool method of soldering wires” or something like that. ”

Everything that you do in your life, should bring you pleasure here and now, stressed Woz. “We – me and Steve [Jobs] – did not try to fantasize or build far-reaching plans. As a rule, we talked only about what we can do at the moment. We discussed short-term projects, you know, which you can implement today, “he summed up.
